Removing And Installing/Replacing Window Cavity Cover Strip On Outside Of Front Door







Attach adhesive tape (1) below window cavity cover strip (2) (risk of damage).
Using special tool 00 9 311 and proceeding from rear to front, lever out window cavity cover strip (1).

Installation:
For installation, coat window cavity seal (1) with turpentine substitute (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
Window cavity cover strip (1) must be flush with door edge at front and rear.







Clip (1) must not be damaged.







Retainer (1) of window cavity cover strip (2) must not be damaged.
