CCC Next Entertainment Source Not Selectable Via MFL

SITUATION
The customer is not able to select the "Next Entertainment Source" using one of the programmable MFL (Multifunction Steering Wheel) buttons while the vehicle is in motion. The settings of the steering wheel buttons is correct under the CID 5th menu. Normal function is restored if the programmable button is set to a different function and changed back to "Next Entertainment Source".
CAUSE
Error in CCC (Car Communication Computer) software.
PROCEDURE
Do not replace parts.
Perform the following procedure in order to restore correct function to the MFL.
1. Starting from the main menu of the CID press down on the controller to access the 5th menu.
2. Select the "Settings" selection from the top menu bar.
3. Scroll down and select "Steering wheel buttons".
4. Scroll down and select "Air recirculation on/off".
5. A pop-up box will appear, select the button that is currently assigned "Next entertainment source" (either Diamond or Star).
6. Scroll down and select "Next entertainment source".
7. A pop-up box will appear. Select the button that you previously assigned to "Air recirculation on/off".
8. Exit from the settings screen by pressing the "Menu" button near the controller.
9. Check the system to ensure it works properly.
10. [NEW] Update the complete vehicle per SI B09 05 01 (Coding, Individualization, Programming) Procedure B, using Progman V25.00.00 or higher.
