Warning Chime Inoperative for Check Control and/or Turn Signals

E90, E91, E92 (3 Series) produced February 28, 2005 to December 29, 2005

SITUATION

The customer complains that the warning chime is inoperative for the check control or the turn signals.

CAUSE

Faulty acoustic transmitter

[NEW] CORRECTION

This problem has been integrated into the BMW diagnosis system. Follow diagnostics and the relevant test plan(s), using the latest diagnosis version. The test plan is accessed as follows: "Function selection/Body/Display and information functions/Instrument cluster/Telltale lamps/Acoustic transmitter".
