SUBJECT
Windshield Wiper Parks out of Position

MODEL
E90, E91 (3 Series) produced up to April 29, 2006

SITUATION
The windshield wiper parks approximately 10 to 15 degrees (2-3 cm) out of position.

CAUSE
Windshield wiper relay fault

CORRECTION
The problem has been integrated into ISTA diagnostics. Using the latest ISTA version, select "Information search/Function structure/Body/Wash-wipe system/Outputs". Then press "Start search" and select the test plan W6160_WAS2 Windscreen wipers do not remain in rest position.
