Kickdown Function Not Available

MODEL
E90 (3 Series) and E91 (3 Series Sport Wagon) equipped with automatic transmission.

SITUATION
Customer may complain of no kickdown function on the accelerator pedal.

CAUSE
Incorrect accelerator pedal module from manual transmission may be fitted on the vehicle.

PROCEDURE
In case of a customer complaint, replace the incorrect accelerator pedal module with the correct pedal module for automatic transmission vehicle per Repair instructions RA 35 40 001.
