SUBJECT
JBE Fails to Program

MODEL
E90 (3 Series) with model codes VB17 and VB27 produced from 7/11/2005 to
11/30/2005

SITUATION
Final report of programming session shows "CoApi code 2089" for JBE (Junction Box Electronics) module. Module failed to program but is still working correctly.

CAUSE
Due to a logistic error in JBE modules manufactured in South Africa, some of the parts may not program using CIP/PROGMAN.

CORRECTION
[NEW]Replace the JBE module.
