SITUATION

The E90 Owners Manual shows a PDC (Park Distance Control) button on the center console. Customers complain that the button is missing on the vehicle.

GENERAL INFORMATION

PDC for vehicles supplied in the USA (Option 607) is a rear only system, and is supplied without a button on the center console.0 It is not possible to retrofit a PDC button.

[NEW] The version described in the Owner's Manual (Option 608) is a front and rear PDC system and is an option in some other markets. This version requires a button on the center console. The description in the Owner's Manual will be improved from September 2006.
