SUBJECT
Replacement OC3 Mat Will not Enable

MODEL
E90 (3 Series)

SITUATION

After installing a replacement OC3 seat mat and enabling it as described in SI B 72 06 05, the final report shows the MRS5 has FC 93C5 (Seat Mat not Enabled), the airbag warning lamp is illuminated and the fault is currently present.

CAUSE

Sequencing error in CIP.

CORRECTION

[NEW] Code the complete vehicle using Progman V20.0, or later version. Refer to B 09 05 01 (Coding, Individualization and Programming) Procedure E.
