Replacing A/C Compressor Drive Belt

11 28 050 - Replacing A/C compressor drive belt (N73)





Special tools required:
- 11 3 340 11 3 340 Locking Pin (2 Pieces)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove engine splash guard.

- Remove fan Service and Repair.
- Remove alternator drive belt Replacing Alternator Drive Belt.





Note:
If the drive belt is to be reused: Mark direction of travel and reinstall drive belt in same direction of travel.





Secure belt tensioner in place with special tool 11 3 340 11 3 340 Locking Pin (2 Pieces). Remove drive belt.

Installation:
Check drive belt for coolant and oil residue and replace if necessary.
Ensure correct installation position: Risk of damage.
