Removing and Installing/Replacing Vehicle Center Sensor

65 77 730 - Removing and installing (replacing) vehicle center sensor

Note:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead Instructions for Disconnecting and Connecting Battery and cover.
- Remove center armrest 51 16 195 Removing and Installing Center Armrest.





Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Release screws (2) and remove vehicle center sensor (3).

Installation Note:
Tightening torque 65 77 6AZ Airbag Triggering Control.
Make sure sensor is mounted without play.





Replacement:
Carry out coding/programming.
Observe following IDC specifications:
- Programming
- Coding
- Car & Key Memory
- CD "CIP"
