Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove airbag unit Removing and Installing/Replacing Airbag Unit (Basic Steering Wheel)





Note:
Illustration shows steering wheel removed.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Loosen screws (2).
Pull out steering wheel electronics control unit (3) slightly.
Unlock plug connection (4) and disconnect.
Remove steering wheel electronics control unit (3).
