SUBJECT
Window Opens without Operating Switch

MODEL
E83 (X3) produced September 30, 2004 to November 18, 2004

SITUATION
When the driver's side window is closed using the power window switch in the door panel, another window may open automatically.

However, this window can be closed again by pressing the appropriate button again.

CAUSE
Interaction between General Module 5 (ZKE5) and power window control.

PROCEDURE
Using CIP15.0 or later, recode the ZKE5. (In CIP, select "Car Coding" and the ZKE5 will be coded automatically - refer to SI B09 05 01- Coding, Individualization and Programming, procedure E.).
