Release Notes CIP 19.0 and CIP 19.1

SITUATION
CIP 19.0 and CIP 19.1 have been released. Certain errors may occur during installation or usage.

CAUSE
Software error

COMPLAINT

The following issues are currently known:

1. "Back" button is missing after the "Change" button in the menu bar has been selected.

2. E90: The programming of RAD2 Profession, is shown in the final report with error 2020 (control unit not responding). Coding has error 1000 (general error).

3. E90: MASK-S is not displayed as programmed in the final report and error 7022 (CoApi control unit comminution problem) is displayed.

4. E65: The CAR settings cannot be coded when attempting to reset the CKM values to the default values.

5. E83 / E85: A "Code" button appears for DME variants that are not codeable. The attempt to code the control unit fails with the message "No further measures".

6. The incorrect CIP version may be displayed on the "Online update" screen following a JET Stream update.

7. GT1 may lock up after selecting the "Update software" button.

8. E60, E63, E64: CCC-A and CCC-BO abort programming. The following error messages are shown: "7022 / 7032 / 7042 / 7098 (CoApi) - Control unit/programming system communication problem", and "1000 (CoApi) - General error.

9. Error message (code=45093, Msg=45084) appears when attempting to change the Automatic Online Update setting (switch on/switch off).

10. E85: The one-touch power windows function (opening/closing) may no longer be active after the general module has been replaced.

11. When selecting "Cancel Update" after measures plan was displayed, an empty white screen may appear.

12. Installation of CIP19.0 aborts and message "Wrong Hardware" is displayed.

13. Error message "The interface could not be assigned, (Code=42702,Msg=)" appears when using DK radio head.

14. With CIP 19.1: When selecting "3 Series" on the model selection screen the session will lock up and must be terminated.

PROCEDURE

1. Button is hidden behind the Minimize" button, no workaround.

2. Start a new session after a battery reset and repeat programming/coding.

3. MASK-S has been programmed nevertheless. Run additional measures plan to verify correct part number.

4. The CKM values can be set correctly before coding by selecting individual CKM settings.

5. Ignore the button or message in the case of DME variants that cannot be coded.

6. Ignore the incorrect CIP version disp1ayed.

7. Reboot the GT1 (and the SSS if necessary).

8. Repeat Programming/coding of the control unit.

9. Automatic update should always stay switched on. Reboot SSS after changing the setting.

10. Check the CKM settings and repeat window initialization.

11. Wait until next screen is displayed. This may take a few minutes.

12. Incorrect base CD was used for installation. CIP 19.0 will only install in conjunction with base CD 2.0.

13. Problem is under investigation.

14. Select "1 Series" - "E87" to work on E90 (3 Series) vehicles. This will be fixed with Online Update CIP 19.01.01.
