Removing and Installing Complete Slide/Tilt Sunroof (Frame)

54 12 210 Removing And Installing Complete Slide/Tilt Sunroof (Frame)

Remove drive unit with transmission for slide/tilt sunroof actuation.
Remove headliner.







Remove water drain hoses (1) at front / rear.
Unfasten Omega clips (2).







Unfasten screws (1) at front and (2) at left/right.







Unhook left/right clip and lower slide/tilt sunroof frame slightly.

Installation:
Fold up back of frame until rear clips can be unfastened.







Slide slide/tilt sunroof frame backwards and lift out through right rear door.







Installation:
Insert slide/tilt sunroof frame in sheet metal slot at front.
