Removing And Installing/Replacing Trim For Preselector Knob







NOTE:
Apply hand-brake and move preselector knob (1) max. to rear (risk of damage to interior mirror).
Do not twist preselector knob (1) when removing; otherwise turning lock in knob (1) will be sheared off.

Pull off preselector knob (1) with a forceful jerk.

Installation:
Fit preselector knob (1) onto selector lever, align and press down until it can be felt to snap into place.







Push rubber gaiter (1) down until groove (2) is fully exposed.







Remove trim (1) with rubber gaiter (2) from center console.







Disconnect plug connections (1) and remove trim (2).
