Removing and Installing/Replacing Sensor on Convertible Top Latch (Automatic)

Note: Right convertible top catch sensor procedure similar





Necessary preliminary tasks:
-Remove trim on convertible top catch
-Remove cover

Unlock plug (1) and detach from housing (2).
Unlock housing (2) and detach in direction of arrow from plug connection (3).






Release screws (1).
Remove two-part sensor (2) from convertible top catch (3).
Installation:
Note different cable lengths of two-part sensor (2).
