SITUATION





Any of the fault codes shown may be stored in the DME. This may also cause the "Service Engine Soon" light to be illuminated as noted.

CAUSE

MSS70 DME software calibration.

[NEW] PROCEDURE

On a customer complaint basis only, reprogram the MSS70 DME using Progman V24.0 or higher. Check the battery state of charge and recharge if
necessary.

Covered under the terms of the BMW New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
