Drive Train
- Engines
The E63 and the E64 both have the familiar 8-cylinder engine (N62B44).

- Transmission
The transmissions available for the E63 and E64 are as follows:
- 6-speed manual transmission
- 6-speed automatic transmission

- Sequential manual transmission
A sequential manual gearbox (SMG) is available for the E63 and the E64. The gears are shifted sequentially. The driver shifts gear by moving the gear lever in the centre console or by means of the two paddles on the steering wheel.
