CAUSE
Battery discharged
PROCEDURE
Check the operation of the KGM MPM relay as follows:
1. After a short test is performed, follow the test plan linked to KGM fault code 93AB.
2. Continue in the test plan and select "[2] Function check MPM".
3. In the next step of the test plan, the MPM relay is switched from off to on.
4. If the relay is working properly, the CCC, MASK or CHAMP will switch off and on.
5. If the component switches off and on, the KGM is working properly and should not be replaced.
6. If the KGM is not switching the MPM, replace the KGM (note: in most cases the KGM is not faulty).
7. Continue troubleshooting the battery discharged issue by completing the "Energy Diagnosis" test plan. Refer to SI B61 13 05 and SI B61 08 00 for further information.
8. A revision to the DIS test plan will be made for this fault with DIS V53.
