Control

The functions of the electrical adjustable door mirror are controlled by the driver door module on the E83 X3. The driver door module communicates with the general module 5 by means of an LIN bus connection.

Equipment variations
- Door mirror High with LIN bus connection between each door mirror and the driver door module
- Door mirror Low without LIN bus connection between each door mirror and the driver door module

The equipment variation door mirror Low comprises the functions:
- Mirror adjustment and
- Mirror heating

The equipment variation door mirror High has the additional integrated functions:
- Folding mirror and
- Mirror memory.
