Resetting the internal ELV fault counter
After replacement of the electrical steering interlock (ELV), the internal ELV fault counter must be reset and a control module reset of the Car Access System must be carried out. If the fault counter has reached its maximum counter reading, the electrical steering interlock can no longer be unlocked. Switching terminal 15 is no longer possible.

NOTE: The service function may only be run after replacement of the electrical steering interlock.
