Special tools required:
- 00 9 317 00 9 317 Trim Panel Wedge





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear bumper trim





Unclip cable holder (1).
Lever out gaiter (2) with special tool 00 9 317 00 9 317 Trim Panel Wedge and slide in direction of arrow.
Swing out self-swinging-out trailer tow hitch.





Release screws (1) and remove socket (2).
Tightening torque 71 60 3AZ 71 60 Trailer Tow Hitch (from 03/07).





Pull off gaiter (1) in direction of arrow from ball rod.
