Replacing Complete Trailer Tow Hitch

71 60 051 - Replacing complete trailer tow hitch





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear bumper trim





Detach impact absorber (1) on both sides.





Release screws (1).

Installation:
Replace screws (1).
Tightening torque 71 60 1AZ 71 60 Trailer Tow Hitch (from 03/07).

Remove trailer tow hitch carrier with a 2nd person helping and disconnect associated plug connections.
