Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right B-Pillar Sensor (From 09/05)

65 77 720 - Removing and installing/replacing left or right B-pillar sensor (from 09/05)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead Removing and Installing/Replacing Trim For Left or Right Door Pillar (Bottom)
- Remove trim panel for door pillar Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead (bottom)





Release screw (1).
Slacken screw (2) and feed out B-pillar sensor in downward direction.
Tightening torque 65 77 5AZ Airbag Triggering Control.

Installation:
Make sure centering pin (3) is correctly seated.
Replace screws (1 and 2).





Disconnect plug connection (1) and remove B-pillar sensor.
