SITUATION
The option code 08S4 Variable Light Decoding is on the Monroney Label.

INFORMATION
A new lighting feature known as "variable beam pattern" was introduced in some countries in 09/2007. This feature is not allowed in the US due to certain lighting regulations currently in place. The option code 08S4 consisted of deactivating this feature for US vehicles.
