Front Fender: Service and Repair

41 35 000 Removing and installing/replacing side panel, front left or right







Special tools required:
- 41 1 110







Read contents of Body, General.

For stripping and rigging operations, refer to texts on KSD CD (FR number 41 35 000).

CAUTION: Do not damage adjoining body parts.







Installation information:

The gap dimensions serve as the basis for adjustment work.







Interior view of front side panel.

Remove screws and nuts.

Installation:

Screw tightening torque 41 35 1AZ.

Nut tightening torque 41 35 2AZ.







Installation:

Slacken screw (1) to adjust side panel in relation to A-pillar.

Turn spacer sleeve with special tool 41 1 110.

IMPORTANT: Do not damage adjoining body parts.

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 41 35 1AZ.







Installation:

Make sure spacer sleeves (1) are correctly seated.
