SUBJECT
Check Control Message Displayed; Turn Signals Flash Fast

MODEL
E65, E66 (7 Series) vehicles from 3/2005

SITUATION
Intermittently or permanently, a "Bulb out" Check Control message is displayed, together with the turn signal flashing fast. Fault code A8BO or A8B 1 (direction indicator, front left or right) is stored in the LM_AHL_2 (Lamp Module) control module. The inoperative turn signal may be the auxiliary turn signal in the fender.

CAUSE
Shorted wire in the headlamp
