SITUATION
The DWA (Anti-theft system) siren is too quiet when locking and unlocking the vehicle. The situation occurs after the SINE (Siren and tilt alarm sensor) control module has been replaced.

CAUSE
The SINE control module has not been programmed and coded.

INFORMATION
After installing a replacement SINE control module, start a programming session and mark the SINE control module to indicate that it has been replaced. This will result in the SINE control module being programmed and coded, which then activates the correct volume output of the siren.
