INFORMATION
The Diagnosis Gateway Module (OGW) is installed between the OBD (onboard diagnosis) connector and the PT-CAN. It is not diagnosable or programmable, and will not show up on a vehicle test.
Its purpose is to be an interface for diagnosis purposes only, and therefore has no effect on regular vehicle operation. However, it has a KL-15 power supply (15_4 OBD Terminal 15) shared with the OBD connector, and is located behind the front passenger glove compartment.
Using ISTA, a circuit diagram can be displayed by selecting "Text search" and entering "OBD socket". Select "SSP OBDII socket" to display the circuit diagram. The Diagnosis Gateway Module is shown as
