SUBJECT
SIRIUS Radio Station List Is Not Displayed in the RSE Monitor

MODEL
E65, E66 *(7 Series)
*with option 603 (Rear Seat Entertainment System) and option 655 (SDARS Satellite Radio)

Vehicles from February 28th, 2008 to April 9th, 2008.

SITUATION
The SIRIUS satellite radio station list is not displayed in the rear seat entertainment (RSE) monitor.

When selected through the rear seat entertainment system, there is only a moving hourglass shown, but the list does not display.

Note:
Normal system operation in the front monitor.

CAUSE
Software issue with the new SDARS satellite receiver hardware introduced from 03/2008.

CORRECTION
Do not replace parts.

Program and code the vehicle using Progman V29.2 or later (E065-08-03-550).

Refer to SI B09 05 01 - Coding, Individualization and Programming, Procedure B.

Note that Progman will automatically reprogram all programmable control units that do not have the latest software.
