51 47 140 Removing And Installing / Replacing Panel For Luggage Compartment Partition

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel
- Remove centre mount for convertible top compartment floor
- Remove trim behind rollover bar on left and right

M Roadster:
- Remove battery







Release screw clips (1) on left and right.
Cut into partition (2) in area of emergency release (3) in such a way that emergency release button (3) fits through.
Feed out emergency release button (3) through partition (2).







NOTE: View from rear without convertible top.

Raise trim (1) for rear storage box slightly. Release clips from deflector (2).
Lift deflector (2) out of tabs (3) of partition (4).
Feed out partition (4) inwards.

Installation:
Make sure deflector (2) is correctly seated in tabs (3).
