51 13 311 Replacing Trim Strip On Left Or Right Roof Gutter

IMPORTANT: The Instructions on component cementing with double-sided adhesive tape serve as the basis for this repair instruction and must be observed without fail.







Detach seal (1) from window frame and trim strip (2).

NOTE: Seal (1) is bonded to body in area (A) and must not be detached at this point.

Detach trim strip (2) from window frame.







Installation:
Position trim strip (1) over aperture (3) in A-pillar (1) and stick on parallel to A-pillar (1).
Press trim strip (1) down firmly over entire length.







Installation:
Attach 6 mm dia. butylene tape between seal (1) and trim strip (2) according to measurement (A).

A = 75 mm

Fit seal (1) on A-pillar.
Seal (1) must be seated in area (3) without gap on trim strip (2).
