The following list shows all the currently known fault patterns that can lead to noises from the front seats.

No. Fault pattern
1 With seat occupied: The seat cracks or grates with different loads such as: cornering, braking, accelerating or pressing back into the backrest.
2 Passenger's seat is not occupied: The passenger's seat cracks or grates while the vehicle is being driven, e.g. on poor road surfaces.
3 Seat squeaks with different loads.
4 Only on 2-door models and vehicles built up to week 31/2008, with mechanical forward / back adjustment of the seat: Seat squeaks during forward / rear adjustment.
