Centre Armrest

Repair instruction for centre armrest

Cause: The centre armrest rattles when lowered while the vehicle is being driven. The end stop is not adequately padded.

Repair instruction
Attach felt strip to the contact surfaces on the end stop of the centre armrest.

Remove the cover of the centre armrest

Separate the upper and lower part of the centre armrest, see illustration







If necessary, remove grease from the upper and lower contact surface

Attach felt strips to the contact surfaces (1), see illustration







NOTE: The felt strip (part number 65 77 1 377 052) must have the following size.







Apply new grease to the contact surfaces of the retaining springs (2), see illustration
