52 17 393 - Removing and installing/replacing front left or right crash-active head restraint





Warning!

Incorrect handling may result in triggering of the crash-active head restraint and thereby cause injury.

Switch off ignition!





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead

- Remove rear panel Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Panel on Left or Right Front Seat Backrest (Normal/Semi-Electric)





Lever out locking clamps (1)





Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Feed out wiring harness from head restraint height adjustment and foam material.





Lift out head restraint.
