51 45 314 - Removing and installing/replacing center (bottom) instrument panel trim





Special tools required:
- 00 9 317 00 9 317 Trim Panel Wedge





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove middle trim for instrument panel 51 45 310 - Removing and installing (replacing) center instrument panel trim (from 03/07)
- Remove trim for ashtray 51 45 ... - Removing and installing/replacing trim on ashtray





Release trim (1) with special tool 00 9 317 00 9 317 Trim Panel Wedge first at top from retainers (2), then at bottom from pin (3).
Disconnect associated plug connections and remove trim (1).





Installation:
Retainers (1) and pins (3) must not be damaged.

Replacement:
Remove switch (2) Removing and Installing/Replacing Center Console Switch Cluster on Left and Right (From 03/07).
