Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Rear Light (In Side Panel)

63 21 180 - Removing and installing/replacing left or right rear light (in side panel)





Important!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove flap in luggage compartment trim panel Removing and Installing/Replacing Flap in Luggage Compartment Trim, Left or Right on left or right





Disconnect plug connection (4).
Release nuts (1, 2, 3), tightening torque 63 21 1AZ [1][2]Mechanical Specifications.

Installation Note:
- Make sure gap is uniform all round between rear light (5) and side panel (6).
- Observe tightening sequence:
1. Tighten nut (1)
2. Tighten nut (2)
3. Tighten nut (3)
Remove rear light (5) in outwards direction from side panel (6).





Installation Note:
Ensure trim (1) is correctly seated.
Position rear light (2) so that mount (3) slides into side panel guide (4).
