SUBJECT
Rear Seat Entertainment Remote Control Is Inoperative

MODEL
F01, F02 *(7 Series) from start of production

*with option 6FG (Rear Seat Entertainment System)

SITUATION
The Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) Remote Control is inoperative and/or cannot be initialized.

CAUSE
There is an incorrect RSE Remote Control in the vehicle (operating frequency is not 315 MHz).

CORRECTION
Check the RSE Remote Control for correct operating frequency of 315 MHz.

Note:
The operating frequency can be checked on the back of the Remote Control, under the battery cover.

Replace the RSE Remote Control if it is not 315 MHz.

Important:
Since the EPC is incorrect, order a replacement part through the Parts Consultant Group (PCG).
