Start Menu For Test Procedure Of The Refrigerant Circuit

[1] No or insufficient cooling capacity
On selection of this diagnosis, you are systematically guided through all the possible causes of a malfunction that are possible for this fault pattern 'no or inadequate cooling output'. Before selecting this diagnosis, all electrical faults relevant to climate control must have been remedied.

[2] Check of electrical components
Select this diagnosis if fault memory entries relevant to climate control have been entered for the following components or if the components are to be checked:
- Function check of the buttons
- Control valve
- Evaporator temperature sensor
- Magnetic clutch

[3] Fault patterns / noticeable symptoms
In the event of malfunctions or customer complaints that are not documented by a fault memory entry, selection of a corresponding fault pattern can start a diagnosis for the fault pattern. Examples of fault patterns are:
- Odour
- Noise
- Temperature difference, left/right
- Windscreen condensation
- Leak in refrigerant circuit
- Water enters vehicle interior
- Fan fluctuations
- Implausible values of the temperature sensors
