Explanation Of The System Values.
Installation of magnetic clutch:
0 = magnetic clutch not fitted
1 = magnetic clutch fitted:
Status of the compressor run-in protection
The compressor run-in protection is intended to ensure that the mechanical parts of a newly fitted A/C compressor are run in gently and that the lubricant is distributed homogeneously in the A/C compressor. If the run-in protection has not been completed, the A/C compressor is switched off at engine speeds that are too low or too high. The run-in protection must run at idle speed and it takes 90 seconds.
0 = compressor run-in protection completed
1 = compressor run-in protection still set
Status of the current activation of the magnetic clutch
0 = the magnetic clutch is not activated by the JBBF electronics
1 = the magnetic clutch is activated by the JBBF electronics
Request for A/C compressor from the IHKA
The value indicates how much power output the control module for the climate control has requested from the A/C compressor. This percentage value is sent by the control module for the climate control via CAN bus to the JBBF electronics. According to the request, the JBBF electronics supply the control valve of the A/C compressor with current.
Refrigerant pressure sensor value
Refrigerant pressure on the high-pressure side of the refrigerant circuit.
Outside temperature
The displayed outside temperature need not correspond exactly to the actual outside temperature. The outside temperature is calibrated and displayed only very slowly in response to changes from lower to higher temperatures. A low outside temperature shown in a vehicle parked in the workshop may correspond to the temperature that prevailed outside the workshop before the vehicle was driven into the workshop. The adjustment of the temperature in the terminal cycle depends on the driving speed and can take a long time if the vehicle is stationary. Calibration takes place at a faster rate in response to changes from warm to cold.
Evaporator temperature sensor value
The evaporator temperature sensor value in degrees Celsius.
Delivery temperature of the ventilation area
Delivery temperature of the ventilation area in degrees Celsius.
Heating heat exchanger sensor value, right:
Heater heat exchanger sensor value in degrees Celsius. The temperature adjustment of the heater heat exchanger takes place by clocking each water valve.
Water valve status
The value indicates the duty cycle with which the heater valves are activated. The water valves control the coolant flow volume through the heat exchanger for heating system and thus the temperature adjustment of the heat exchanger for the heating system.
0 % = water valve closed, no coolant flow volume through the heat exchanger for the heating system
100 % = water valve fully opened, full coolant flow volume through the heat exchanger for the heating system
