SUBJECT
Creaking Noises from the Center Armrest

MODEL
F01, F02 (7 Series) produced up to 2/2009

SITUATION
The front center armrest makes a creaking or squeaking noise when the customer's arm presses down on the cover during normal driving conditions.

CAUSE
A manufacturing defect in the front center armrest

PROCEDURE
Replace the front center armrest per REP 51 16 195.
