Electronics box water ingress
A familiar problem exists with water ingress into the E-box on E70, E71 and E72 Series vehicles. This potentially gives rise to the following complaints:
- Engine delivers no power.
- Engine does not start.
- Engine reverts to emergency limp-home mode.
- Engine stalls.
- Battery discharge.
- Various fault messages and DTC entries.
- No communications with engine electronic systems.
