Back Window Glass: Adjustments

51 31 201 - Adjusting rear window





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear spoiler 51 71 412 Removing and Installing Rear Spoiler
Prerequisite:
- Rear lid Adjustments must be correctly adjusted





Slacken nuts (1) on left/right, do not release fully

Note:
Rear window height is adjusted by inserting shims (2).





Adjust rear window (1) in accordance with gap dimensions and secure in place with nuts (2).
Tightening torque 51 31 1AZ 51 31 Front and Rear Window.
If necessary, adjust rear window wiper motor 61 62 060 Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Window Wiper Motor.
If necessary, adjust rear window lock Adjusting Rear Window Lock.
