Removing and Installing/Replacing Backrest

52 24 010 - Removing and installing / replacing backrest





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear seat Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Seat
- Release lock Emergency Actuator for Rear Seat Backrest on backrest (emergency actuation)





Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 52 24 01AZ 52 24 Rear Seat (Normal), Manual.
Tilt backrest forwards and lift backrest with guides (2) out of partition wall.

Installation:
Make sure guides (2) on left and right are correctly seated in partition wall.





Remove head restraints.
Cover door sill with protective cover (risk of damage).
Lift out backrest and feed out of seat belts.
