51 32 ... Adjusting The Rear Left And Right Window Cavity Gap Of The Door Window Glass







Special tools required:
- 51 0 342
- 51 0 400







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove outer window cavity cover strip







Window cavity gap of fixed window glass:
Close rear door
A Window cavity dimension 10 ± 0.8 mm
Use special tool 51 0 342 to measure from inside of flange edge (1) to door window glass (2) (dimension (A). In front of door seal in the area of C pillar.







Adjusting window cavity gap of fixed window glass:
- Release Torx screw (1). Use adjustment screw (2) to set clear cavity gap.
Tighten Torx screw (1).
Tightening torque 51 35 6AZ.

- If necessary, repeat work steps.







Window cavity gap of movable window glass:
Close door window glass (2).
Close rear door
Use special tool 51 0 342 messen to measure from inside of flange edge (3) to door window glass (2) (dimension (A)). Area B-pillar panel (1).

A = Window cavity gap 9,5 ± 0.8 mm







Window cavity gap of movable window glass:
Use special tool 51 0 400 to loosen nut (2) and set clear window cavity with adjustment pin (1).
