51 16 160 Removing And Installing/Replacing Centre Console Trim

Special tools required:







IMPORTANT:
- Risk of damage.
- Carry out the following operation carefully so as to avoid damage.
- Tape off centre console trim in work area.







Carefully lever front centre armrest trim (1) with special tool 00 9 322 out of centre console and remove.







Release screws (1).

IMPORTANT: First tighten screws hand-tight.

Tightening torque 51 16 9AZ.
Carefully lever out centre console trim (2) with special tool 00 9 323. Disconnect plug connections underneath.
Remove centre console trim (2) in direction of arrow.







Installation:
If necessary, replace retainers (1).
Make sure centre console trim (2) is correctly seated.

Replacement:
- Remove centre console operating unit
- Remove front controller.
