Backrest Frame on Left or Right Rear Seat

52 25 041 - Removing and installing/replacing backrest frame on left or right rear seat





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left or right rear seat Backrest for Left or Right Rear Seat





Unlock and disconnect plug connection (1) on drive for seat tilt adjustment.
Lever out clips.
Feed out wiring harness.





Unlock and disconnect plug connection (1) on drive for longitudinal seat adjustment.





Release screws (1) on left and right.
Remove backrest frame.

Installation:
Replace microencapsulated screws (1).
Tightening torque 52 25 08AZ 52 25 Rear Seat, Electric.





Replacement only:
- Remove backrest cover Backrest Cover for Left or Right Rear Seat for rear seat
- Remove control unit Removing and Installing/Replacing Control Unit/Module for Left or Right Seat Adjustment (Rear)
- Remove lumbar cushion Lumbar Cushion on Left or Right Rear Seat
- Remove massage mat Massage Mat
- Remove pump Pump For Lumbar And Massage for lumbar and massage
- Remove valve blocks for lumbar and massage
- Remove four-bar lever Removing and Installing/Replacing Four-Bar Lever on Left or Right Rear Seat Backrest on rear seat backrest.





Removing wiring harness:
Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Feed wiring harness out of backrest frame.





Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Remove plug housing (2).
Lever out all clips and remove wiring harness.





Note:
The new backrest frame part contains all the drives.
