    Lighting and Horns
      Check operation of horn, headlamp flasher and hazard flasher and hazard warning flashers. Lighting system: turn signals, back-up, license plate, interior, map reading, sun visor, glovebox, luggage area and flashlight.
    Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators
      Check "check control" messages. Check indicator and warning lights.
    Coolant
      Engine Coolant fluid level and concentration. Record freeze point temperature below.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Brake system connections and lines: check for leaks, damage and wear.
    Body and Frame
      Check body corrosion. Underbody (all visible parts): check for damage, leaks, corrosion.
    Blower Motor
      Heater/ AC blower fan.
    Battery
      State of battery charge ("magic eye"), recharge if needed.
    Air Bag
      SRS airbag units (visual) for torn covers, obvious damage or attachment of stickers.
Replace
    Oil Filter, Engine
    Engine Oil
    Cabin Air Filter / Purifier
    Brake Pad
      Front Brakes: Replace brake pads. Clean brake pad contact points on calipers. Check brake disc surfaces and record thickness.
