Wind Whistle Noise from the Left or Right Side Door Mirrors

E70 (X5) produced from September 1, 2006 through September 23, 2010
E71, E72 (X6) produced from September 1, 2006 through September 23, 2010
SITUATION
Wind noise is heard from the door mirrors when driving at certain speeds.
CAUSE
The door mirror covering caps allow air to enter the mirror and create the whistling noise.
CORRECTION
Apply foam rubber strips inside both door mirror caps.
