SUBJECT
Top Rear View Control Unit Functions Intermittently

SITUATION

The top rear view control unit (TRSVC) functions intermittently. After deleting the fault memory in the TRSVC control unit, there is a possibility that the original fault entries may reappear in the control unit after the next restart. This may occur with every fault stored in the TRSVC control unit.

CAUSE

Software fault in the TRSVC control unit.

PROCEDURE
Do not replace any parts!

^ [NEW] Program and code the vehicle using ISTA/P 2.39.0 or higher.

^ [NEW] Note that ISTA/P will automatically reprogram and code all programmable control modules that do not have the latest software.
